Von dieser (Kuh) ist Fortnahme (erlaubt). Die Wickel(opfer) werden eingewickelt, undgeopfert werden auf dem Herdfeuer in dem Tempel die Wickel(opfer) und ein Kuchen aus einem halben hekteusWeizen. Hiervon ist keine Mitnahme aus dem Tempel (erlaubt). - Am elften: dem ZeusMachaneus wird ein Rind ausgesucht in jedem zweiten Jahr, wenn die Karneen(-Opfer) stattfinden, sowie es auch im Batromios für Zeus Polieus ausgesucht wird, und zuvor wird ein Ferkelvollständig verbrannt und erfolgt eine Vorankündigung ebenso wie für den Polieus. - Am zwölften:für Zeus Machaneus drei ausgewachsene Schafböcke und ein ausgesuchtes Rind jedeszweite Jahr, wenn die Karneen(-Opfer) stattfinden; jedes andere Jahr drei ausgewachseneSchafböcke. Das opfert der Priester der Zwölfgötter, und er bereitetdie Opfer. Diesen voran geht als Voropfer an dem gemeinsamen (Altar das), was die Phylo-machidai bringen: ein halber hekteus Gerstenschrot, ein Viertel Wein. Als Ehrengaben wird den Phylo-machidai gegeben vom Rind Huf (und) Sohle, von den Schafen das rohe (Fleisch),von dem der Götteranteil geschnitten wird, und - - -. An Ehrengaben nimmt derPriester Schenkel und Häute. - An demselben Tag: für Athene Machaniseine ausgesuchte junge Kuh jedes zweite Jahr, wenn die Karneen(-Opfer) stattfinden, jedesandere Jahr ein ausgewachsenes Schaf. Es opfert die Priesterin und besprengt mit Meer-wasser. Hiervon ist keine Fortnahme (erlaubt). Als Beiopfer werden der Göttin gegeben:vier Becher Olivenöl, ein Viertel Wein, zwei neue Kannen und dreineue Pokale. Für die Karneen(-Opfer) aber soll die Stadt kaufen eine junge,ausgesuchte Kuh von nicht weniger als fünfzig Drachmen, diese aber - - -- - -

On the twelfth:to Zeus Mechaneus three adult rams and an ox selected in thesecond year from when the Karneia happen, in the alternate year the three adultrams; priest of the Twelve Gods sacrifices these and supplies thevictims; before these he sacrifices, by the public (altar) that the Phylo-machidai bring, a half hekteus of barley, a fourth of wine; as perquisites for the Phylo-machidai are given from the ox hoof (and) sole, from the rams the raw partfrom which the god’s portion is cut, and - - -; as perquisites the priest receiveslegs and skins. On the same day: of Athena Mechanisa select cow in the second year from when the Karneia happen,in the alternate year an adult ewe; priestess sacrifices and is washed withsea water; of these no carrying away; as supplemental offerings are given to the goddessfour kotylai of olive oil, a fourth of wine, two new ewers andthree new wine cups; for the Karneia the city is to purchasea select heifer for not less than fifty drachmas, and this - - -- - -
